Nursery

Age Group: 6 weeks – 1 year

Our nursery environment is designed to cater to the care needs of children between 6 weeks to 1 year of age. This is the age where your child starts building awareness of the self and their own body, their feeding requirements are at their peak, and they begin to enjoy their interactions with the world and people around them. At this stage, they are highly fragile and impressionable and always require the attention of a caregiver.

We build a home-like environment for your babies to be loved and cared for. Besides providing the primary care they require, we trigger their natural curiosity and learning through various stimulating and fun activities. Through safe exposure to colours, music, toys, food, and movement, we promote the development of their senses and familiarise them with different hues of life. Our highly skilled educators work closely with families to set personalized goals for their babies. The Nursery room has a distinct space allocated for babies to sleep, which is constantly monitored by the educators as per the regulation.

Toddlers

Age Group: 1 – 2 years and 2 – 3 years

Toddlers are excited to put their newfound imagination, knowledge, and skills to use. They are known for their natural inclination for movement and are little explorers who are always curious and excited about everything they touch, see, and feel.

At Prodigy early learning, we provide a safe space where your children can chase their natural curiosity, develop their basic instincts, nurture their imagination, and be familiarised with key concepts like kindness, independence, family and power etc.

We separate the toddler group into two categories based on their age, 1 – 2 years and 2 – 3 years. While the care requirements for these age groups differ as they have different degrees of mobility, both are at early developmental stages that require a similar approach.

The educators design environments where the children feel safe and supported and help them develop their emerging sense of agency and identity in these dynamic environments.

Children at this age are encouraged to have interactions with their peers, to help develop human connections, and slowly prepare them for the schooling years that await them.

With fun filled activities such as dance sessions, thought-inducing activities, music sessions, and art exploration, we plan a fun routine for your toddlers at our Early Learning Centre.

Children are well supported by educators who offer one-on-one time to provide comfort and reassurance as and when needed.

Kindergarten

3-Year-old & 4 Years old Kinder

At Prodigy Early Learning both our Kinder Learning spaces are designed to ensure that the children are provided opportunities to interact and to support their independent learning as well as work together with their peers and make the most of these precious final years before they start school.

Once your child reaches 3 years of age, they begin to develop a sense of autonomy and enjoy doing things independently. Their natural curiosity develops into a critical eye that begins to analyse the world around them. These are the formative years where actual learning begins, and it’s during these years that the foundation of an active schooling life is laid. So, kindergartners need constant stimulation, which we provide via our dynamic learning environment and activities.

As Kindergarten prepares the children for their schooling journey, we ensure that we familiarise them with a more formal learning set-up and approach, so they are not overwhelmed by the structured routine that awaits them on their first day of school.

The children engage in activities that foster their creativity, critical thinking skills, and desire to learn, promote overall movement, to develop their friendship skills. Our Kinder curriculum is designed to be filled with fun, rest, and learning. It will be their informal introduction to the world of formal education. This will also be their initial introduction to early literacy, numeracy, science, language, and other fields of knowledge.

We understand that each state has its distinctive requirements. At Prodigy Early Learning, our Kindergarten programs are guided by the approved Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
